WasSUP? NorCal Paddle Boarding.

I have to admit: I’m not that great on a paddle board. I’m more of a kayak dude. I’m not sure if it’s the balance thing, or what. But, it’s not as easy as it looks. For thousands of Northern Californians near Folsom, however, it is easy and one of their favorite things to do – especially when forced away from others during 2020’s COVID season.

It doesn’t take a mastery of paddle boarding to realize how fun it is. When Jaime started on it, that’s one of the first things she said: “It’s fun, and we have to show that aspect of it first.” She was exactly right. We hired one of my best friends, Leo Raymundo of BAM Communications to design us a stellar logo. We traded the design for art from Groundswell Gallery, and after some back-and-forth tweaking, had exactly the image we wanted.

SUP as a video client is one of my favorite aspects of their marketing plan. Taking the camera, enthusiastic paddle boarders, a truck full of paddles and GPS to a faraway lake has to be one of the best parts of my job. We also get good stuff – because – it’s fun. Guaranteed good time.
