“Wuts guuud?? Oh snap, gurl, why it gotta be like that?” This painting by Charles “Chuckie” #Nahl is a great example of how bright or “lit” a painting can be using the right contrast and #color combinations. I think that must be what Nahl thought was his signature, besides the crazy-ass expressions on his horses’ faces. If one views this in a gallery, it almost looks like a flat-panel television screen. So in a way, we’re watching the mid 19th century version of Jersey Shores in this painting.
